Montessori Casa Directress

AMI / MACTE Certified · Ages 2.5–6

A passionate educator with a deep understanding of child development and Montessori materials, who leads with kindness, care, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Plan activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
  • Maintain communication with colleagues and families
  • Follow the Montessori curriculum and create lesson plans
  • Document student progress per school protocols
  • Keep classroom materials in excellent condition
  • Ensure CCEYA and Montessori pedagogy compliance

Requirements

  • AMI/MACTE Montessori certification required
  • Two years Casa experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
  • Current medical, TB, and immunization records
  • Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); French and Mandarin are assets

40–45 hours per week. Compensation TBD based on experience.

Montessori Toddler Directress

AMI / MACTE Certified · Ages 12–30 months

An educator grounded in Montessori philosophy who recognizes children as sensorial learners and meets them where they are.

Responsibilities

  • Plan activities that promote development across key domains
  • Foster open communication with staff and parents
  • Create lesson plans and observe each child’s progress
  • Maintain classroom materials and cleanliness
  • Ensure CCEYA and Montessori compliance
  • Support toilet training and the development of independence

Requirements

  • AMI/MACTE certification mandatory
  • Two years Montessori experience preferred; fresh graduates encouraged
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
  • Current medical, TB, and immunization records
  • Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); French is beneficial
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Up to 40 hours per week.
